The front cover picture , provided by L. Chen, Y. Hisaeda, and H. Shimakoshi, illustrates a visible light‐driven, room temperature Heck‐type coupling reaction catalyzed by the cobalt complex combined with a photosensitizer. The present study provides a useful guidepost for the synthesis of various substituted alkenes under mild conditions by a green system. The mild reaction conditions using an environmentally benign cobalt catalyst derived from the natural B 12 demonstrate a practical protocol for the synthetic organic chemistry of the B 12 ‐catalyzed reaction system.
