An efficient method for the synthesis of sulfone‐containing isoquinolinonediones has been achieved via radical cascade addition/cyclization of acrylamide with sulfide or sulfonyl chloride under silver‐catalysis or visible light‐induced conditions. On the basis of this newly developed strategy, a wide range of isoquinolinonedione derivatives with a variety of functional groups can be effectively synthesized.
