The cover picture , provided by Lothar Elling, Vladimir Křen, and their co‐workers, illustrates the chemoenzymatic synthesis of sulfated N ‐acetyllactosamine (LacNAc) oligomers representing building blocks of keratan sulfate, a protein‐bound glycosaminoglycan of the extracellular matrix. The modular combination of chemical sulfation and enzymatic glycan synthesis renders hexasaccharides with variable degrees of sulfation. The reported sulfated glycan structures are potential candidates for binding assays of glycan binding proteins such as lectins and growth factors. Details can be found in the full paper on pages 584–596 (B. Lange, A. Šimonová, T. Fischöder, H. Pelantová, V. Křen, L. Elling, Adv. Synth. Catal. 2016 , 358 , 584–596; DOI: 10.1002/adsc.201500916 ).
