(±)‐1‐Acetylaspidoalbidine and (±)‐1‐methylaspidospermidine were synthesized from protected tryptamine through the combination of an organocatalytic Diels–Alder reaction, a tandem stereoselective ring‐opening reduction, and a double Michael addition.
