As Advanced Synthesis & Catalysis enters its second decade, Chris H. Senanayake and Qilin Zhou join the ASC Editorial Board, chaired by Ryoji Noyori. A turnover on the ASC Advisory Boards was also needed, in order that the journal remain fresh and innovative. Therefore after 10 years, there has been a renewal of over half of the members of the ASC Industrial and Academic Advisory Boards. The new members are top chemists in the younger generation, who promise to be the pioneers and leaders of the next decade. In its first decade, ASC has had a steady increase in printed pages and in impact; it is still on the upward slope of it life curve. It is the goal of the new Editorial and Advisory Boards, and a strengthened Editorial Office, to maintain the journal′s position of leadership by continuing to be a prestigious address for the publication of the seminal work in the field of (green) synthesis and catalysis.
