An efficient and expeditious boron trifluoride etherate (BF 3 ⋅Et 2 O) catalyzed one‐pot reaction for the synthesis of N ‐tosyl‐9‐aminofluorenes and anthracene derivatives from in situ generated N ‐tosylbenzaldimines via an aza‐Friedal–Crafts reaction has been developed. The catalytic reaction shows high substrate tolerance with excellent yields.
