Abstract The first desulfitative Hiyama‐type cross‐coupling protocol is reported and exemplified by the synthesis of substituted 5‐chloro‐3‐arylpyrazinones. The method has also been successfully applied for the arylation of other (hetero)aryl thioethers and thioesters.
