Smart Surfaces In article number 2000023 , Karl Mandel and co‐workers present a new type of abrasion indicators based on supraparticles to determine shear stress to a surface. With these supraparticles, based on nanoparticular building blocks, a smart and communicating surface is developed which indicates shear stress by a luminescent turn‐on effect.
