Marina S. Leite and co‐workers present a comprehensive survey of recent advances accomplished in photonics and plasmonics by implementing metal‐alloy‐based materials: see article number 2001082. Metallic alloys represent a promising pathway to tailor the optical properties of devices, enabling further control of the electromagnetic spectrum. They have found burgeoning applications in nanophotonics such as superabsorbers, hydrogen sensing, hot carrier devices, photocatalysis, and photovoltaics. The cover image highlights all the metal elements in alloy systems covered in this Review.
