For designing advanced infrared nonlinear optical (NLO) materials, a new strategy to achieve a large NLO efficiency by strengthening both its static and induced contributions via the high orientation of NLO functional motifs is proposed and demonstrated by Guo‐Cong Guo and co‐workers (article number 1800156 ) using the two representative polyselenides Rb 2 Ge 4 Se 10 and Cs 2 Ge 4 Se 10 .
