Transition metal nitrides exhibit plasmonic properties in the visible and near infrared region and offer exceptional thermal, chemical, and mechanical stability. In article number 1600717, Vladimir M. Shalaev, Alexandra Boltasseva, and co‐workers demonstrate a path to fabricate large‐scale nanoarchitectures of plasmonic titanium nitride via nitridation of titanium dioxide. With their well‐known material synthesis, metal oxides can be utilized as starting materials towards plasmonic metal nitrides with complex designs.
