Ki‐Hun Jeong and co‐workers successfully demonstrate a silicon nanohole metamaterial with ultrathin membrane configuration for an extraordinary figure‐of‐merit in article number 1600628. This novel metamaterial enables not only the label‐free detection of chemical and biological molecules with different mass concentrations but also the in situ reaction monitoring of biochemical molecules. The image shows the label‐free detection of streptavidin and biotin binding by using the ultrathin silicon nanohole membrane.
