A novel double transfer stamping method for the fabrication of a bilayer, interdiffused organic photodetector is demonstrated. The concept leads to a device having both a low dark current density of 7.7 nA cm −2 and high external quantum efficiency of 60% through optimized segregation of electron donor and acceptor materials within the active layer.
