A rationally designed hybrid supramolecular gel containing upconversion nanoparticles (UCNP) can enhance visible light emission under near‐infrared excitation. The new design relies on the use of a gelator whose fluorescent aggregates absorb UV light emitted by UCNP and emits visible light that adds up to the upconverted visible light emission of the UCNP.
