Near‐field coupling of bright and dark resonances has been extensively observed in plasmonic and metamaterial lattices, where the coupling usually occurs by radiative modes. Here, an anisotropic inductive coupling is experimentally studied in a metamolecule system and a coupling dependent suppression and excitation of bright mode is demonstrated.
