A low‐bandgap polymer‐based photodetector exhibiting a calculated specific detectivity greater than 1.0 × 10 13 cm Hz 0.5 W −1 at wavelengths from 350 to 870 nm is enabled by a cross‐linkable buffer layer. The device shows an extremely low dark current density of 0.64 nA cm −2 and high external quantum efficiency of 27.7% at a wavelength of 850 nm.
