Plasmonic nanostructures composed of an outer dish and an inner disk are generated and applied as a nanoscale ruler for analyzing the polarization of light. A multi‐compositional nanostructure, in which chemically active materials are positioned as the inner disks inside the gold dishes, is also demonstrated to monitor the progress of the chemical reaction occurring inside each individual Au dish.
