A spatial light modulator with multicolor super‐pixels composed of arrays of electronically controlled terahertz metamaterial absorbers is demonstrated to have an average modulation depth of 62 percent and a frequency tunability greater than 5 percent. The device created here shows that fundamental light interactions of surfaces can be dynamically electronically controlled and provide a path forward for future designs.
