The band‐gap and emission color of halide perovskites are tuned in the visible region by halide exchange reactions proceeding through the halide vacancies. Thus, localized filling of halide vacancies by optical trapping deactivates halide exchange in a selected volume of a perovskite crystal, enabling one to control the halide exchange reactions, and prepare heterojunction perovskite structures (reported by Ken‐ichi Yuyama, Vasudevanpillai Biju, and co‐workers in article number 2000934).
