A microfluidic sorting scheme based on deterministic lateral displacement in which the posts are active electrodes is presented by Jason P. Beech, Jonas O. Tegenfeldt, and co‐workers, in article number 1900339. Changing the voltage applied to the posts allows for adjustment of the cut‐off size in a range from 6 µm to 0.25 µm. Although the device has feature sizes of tens of micrometers, this large dynamic range allows for the sorting of nanoscale particles.
