Nonlinear hysteresis from the piezoelectric tripod manipulator integrated with a compliant mechanism obstructs precise motion. To accurately control the piezoelectric tripod manipulator, in article number 1800298 , Hyeong‐Geon Kim, Jong‐Nam Kim, Il‐Kwon Oh and co‐workers successfully apply a feedforward hysteresis compensator based on the rate‐dependent hysteresis model and feedback control integrated with a rate‐independent compensator to the piezoelectric tripod manipulator with severe inherent hysteresis.
