The rapid development of wearable electronics requires flexible batteries as power sources. A number of flexible lithium ion batteries are investigated using new electrolyte, electrode, new structural designs as well as special fabrication methods. In article number 1700375 , Tao Tao, Shengguo Lu, and Ying Chen report recent advances in the exploration of flexible lithium‐ion batteries and perspectives for the future development of flexible electronic devices.
