Self‐healing surface materials with durable mechanical, functional and structural properties have attracted enormous research interests, which exhibit great potential in energy conversion devices, sensors, electronic skins, superhydrophobic fabrics, medical/biological hydrogels, and protective coatings. In article number 1901959, Tie Chang, Fazil Panhwar and Gang Zhao summarize recent progress in self‐healing surface materials. The contemporary challenges and the future perspectives are proposed for better design of diverse self‐healing surface materials.
