Antibacterial coatings are prepared by self‐assembly of gentamicin polyacrylic acid complexes in layer‐by‐layer films. The coatings release gentamicin over several weeks, preventing the growth of S. aureus strains, and have potential applications for surface modification of titania implants to prevent nosocomial infections, which are a major concern of implant surgery. More details can be found in article number 1901373 by Ane Escobar, Sergio E. Moya, and co‐workers.
