Hydrophobic magnetic bimetallic hydroxide nanosheets (HMHNs) are synthesized simple molten salt method for 1 min. The HMHNs are tightly and homogeneously bound to the Cu mesh or sponge surface for use in oil/water separation. Moreover, the HMHNs quickly absorb a highly viscose oil spill floating on the surface of water and viscose oil stabilized in water, and the HMHNs are easily recovered with an external magnet. More details can be found in article number 1900773 by Mahfuza Mubarak, Ha‐Jin Lee, and co‐workers.
