Each monodisperse nanocrystal of the 2D magnetic mesocrystal presents tilted magnetic anisotropy and single domain state. The magnetization of the nanocrystal can be modulated among eight different states, named “1, 2, … 8” respectively, which means higher data storage capacity can be achieved.
