A distinct phenomenon of macro‐space splitting by drying a cyanobacterial polysaccharide solution which shows liquid crystallinity are reported by Kosuke Okeyoshi, Tatsuo Kaneko and co‐authors in article number 1701219 . During the viscous aqueous solution drying from a narrow gap, the deposited polymer bridges the two parallel substrates and the vertical membrane grows.
