Bin Ding and co‐authors at Donghua University demonstrate that electrospun fluorinated polyurethane fibrous membranes with hydrophobic surface and interconnected porous structure possess simultaneously breathability (water vapor transmission rate of 11.9 kg m −2 d −1 ) and waterproofness (hydrostatic pressure of 86 kPa), which would be an appropriate candidate in various applications especially as protective garments.
