The hottest and most interesting state‐of‐the‐art research activities carried out in manganite thin films grown by metal‐organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) are reported. The main strategies to tailor their physical properties, such as the impact of the substrate‐induced strain, the defect density, or the influence of stoichiometry in the nanostructured films, are highlighted. Relevant examples of their implementation and integration in miniaturized devices aiming to their future use in information storage, field‐effect sensing, and spintronics applications, are also presented.
