A top‐down transient Pickering emulsion templating method is introduced to prepare MOFsomes (metal–organic framework colloidosomes) with a multilayer‐shell spherical hollow structure. It is also demonstrated that this type of MOFsomes can be employed as a platform to prepare multicomponent and multifunctional colloidosomes by introducing different types of particles.
