A facile and inexpensive solid‐state battery system (Li/LiBH 4 ‐LiI/lithiated TiS 2 ) that exhibits excellent performance at elevated temperature (120 °C) is presented. The preformation of solid electrolyte interphase by chemical reaction is demonstrated to prohibit self‐discharge and successfully address the interfacial issue between the solid electrolyte and cathode at high temperatures.
