Boron nitride nanosheets are a promising material in protecting metal from oxidation and corrosion, because they are highly impermeable to gases and ions, inert to most chemicals, stable at high temperatures, mechanically strong, and electrically insulating which can prevent galvanic corrosion to the underlying metal as shown by L. H. Li, Y. Chen, and co‐workers in article 1300132.
