The mechanism of selective adsorption and growth mode of transition metal atoms on a graphene/Ru (0001) moiré template is investigated by Shixuan Du, and co‐workers in article 1300104 via densityfunctional‐theory‐based first principle calculations. It reveals that the local hybridization of the template plays an important role in the selective adsorption and even the growth mode of the following metal nano‐clusters.
