A hierarchical nanostructured 3D platform is reported that combines microporosity with a nanostructure for selective capture of cancer cells. The microporosity allows red blood cells to travel through, while the anti‐EpCAM modified nanostructure captures circulating tumor cells. These systems allow for considerable increase in the contact frequency between target cells and the substrate, thus enhancing the cancer cell filtration and isolation efficiency.
