In article number 2003845, Wei Ai, Hongfang Du, Wei Huang, and co‐workers systematically review the progress of Sebased cathodes in Li batteries, in particular paying attention to their electrolyte‐dependent principle and performance. Li–Se batteries remain appealing and have gained burgeoning interests in recent years, which originates from their superior volumetric energy densities, and they are a prospective candidate to fulfil the energy‐storage application requirement of a limited packing space, such as for electric vehicles.
