In article number 1806993 , Uli Wiesner and co‐workers describe a novel concept for the synthesis of amorphous quantum nanomaterials in the form of ultrasmall silica nanoparticles referred to as Cornell dots (C dots) in which chemically tuning the local amorphous silica environment over a range of compositions enables exquisite control over the quantum behavior of encapsulated π‐electron dye systems.
