Huiyu Liu and co‐workers develop an excellent sonosensitizer based on a metal–organic‐framework (MOF)‐derived mesoporous carbon nanostructure containing porphyrin‐like metal centers (PMCs). PMCs possess high reactive‐oxygen‐species‐generation efficiency due to their large HOMO–LUMO gap and porous structure. As described in article number 1800180 , it is expected that PMCs will inspire the design of MOF‐derived carbon‐nanostructure sonosensitizers due to their promising inherent sonodynamic characteristics.
