On page 8265, M. Xue and co‐workers describe the growth of highly oriented polypyrrole nanotubes by in situ vapor‐phase polymerization within a nanoscale template under low temperature. A gas sensor based on these nanotubes demonstrates an ultralow detection limit (0.05 ppb) and very fast response toward electron‐donating molecules. This in situ mass‐production method for conducting polymers may pave a new step toward next‐generation gas sensors.
