A porous protective membrane made of metal‐organic frameworks is synthesized via biomimetic mineralization on living cells, presented by K. Liang, C. J. Doonan, P. Falcaro, and co‐workers on page 7910. The resulting artificial exoskeleton offers physical protection and prevents cell division, while allowing for the transport of essential nutrients. The back cover shows yeast cells covered with a polycrystalline ZIF‐8 film.
