A new class of sensors made from completely biodegradable materials that are safe for the environment and biocompatible with the human body, is emerging. An array of highly sensitive pressure sensors, made from entirely biodegradable materials is presented by Z. Bao and co‐workers on page 6954. The high sensitivity and the time‐resolution capabilities of this biodegradable sensor make it suitable for application as single‐use patch in cardiovascular monitoring.
