A metal carbonyl‐caged graphene oxide nanomedicine engineered to deliver a CO donor into cells effectively and to release CO gas in a controlled manner for improved efficacy and biosafety of CO therapy is presented by Z Qian, X. Chen, and co‐workers on page 6741. The nanoformula is highly responsive to near‐infrared light for the on‐demand release of CO gas, which generates an anti‐inflammation effect on cells.
