A CO 2 ‐activated nanofluidic logic device, with reversible character and fast response rate, grafting imidazole‐containing polymer on the inner surface of the conically shaped nanochannels, is demonstrated by J. Zhai, L. Gao and co‐workers on page 1851. When bubbling CO 2 , the imidazole groups are protonated, and the nanochannels are at the “on” state. Therefore, the nanochannels rectify the current, related to the structure of the asymmetric nanochannels.
