New life for “old” acetyl compounds: CO 2 ‐selective, N‐doped carbonaceous membranes can be facilely prepared via thermal treatment of pyrrole‐ring‐containing polymeric membranes based on the superacid‐catalyzed copolymerization of acetyl monomers. A solution‐based synthesis of these free‐standing membranes with application to CO 2 separation is described by Sheng‐Dai, Honglai Liu, Shannon Mahurin and co‐workers on page 4152 .
