Periodic distributions of silver nanoparticles are self‐assembled on a Nd 3+ ‐doped periodicallypoled ferroelectric laser crystal. The plasmonic resonances supported by the metallic arrays produce an enhancement of the Nd 3+ luminescence, and a remarkable intensification of the second harmonic generated signal. Further details can be found in the article by Pablo Molina and coworkers on page 910 .
