Photoactive monolayers on Si(111) surfaces are of considerable interest for nanotechnological applications. Karola Rück‐Braun, Catherine Henry de Villeneuve, and co‐workers show on page 416 that surface compositions of fulgimide monolayers under visible and UV rradiation can be derived from in situ IR spectroscopy.
