A new type of free‐standing membrane composed of highly uniform carbonaceous nanofibers has been fabricated on a large scale. The membrane with a controllable cut‐off size exhibits high flux and excellent size‐selective rejection properties, and can be used to filter and separate nanoparticles with different sizes from solution by a simple filtration process.
