The control of the intracolumnar organization of disc‐shaped polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons has essential influence on material’s properties including thermotropic behavior and charge carrier transport which are crucial for applications in organic electronics. The utilization of a broad toolbox of peripheral substitution allows well‐defined modification of the molecular interactions and packing within helical columnar stacks (see figure).
