A surface‐energy generator (SEG) using single‐walled carbon nanotubes is demonstrated to harvest the surface energy of ethanol. The SEG can drive thermistors in a self‐powered system. The performance can be significantly enhanced by the Marangoni effect. These SEGs show the advantages of a smaller inner resistance, no moving parts, and no need for the application of an obvious external force.
