The 8H diamond synthesized by X‐ray radiation has a hexagonal unit cell ‘ P63/mmc (#194)’ with 16 carbon atoms in the unit cell and can be described as 75% cubic diamond (3C) and 25% lonsdaleite (2H). The stability of 8H diamond is confirmed by first‐principles calculations.
