Frontispiece on page 3185 : Experiments and self‐consistent field calculations reveal the complex structures of nanocylinders with orientations controlled by the underlying surface pattern. The surface pattern has a period of 100 nm, more than twice of the bulk intercylinder distance. As reported on p. 3271 by Sang Ouk Kim, Qiang Wang, and co‐workers, judiciously designed surface patterns may be used to fabricate well‐ordered complex structures in block copolymer thin films. Directed‐assembly techniques therefore provide a versatile pathway to well‐registered complex nanostructures, which are useful as template materials in various applications such as plasmonic waveguides or nanowire arrays.
